A camera is a device that records what you see and does so in some way. Cameras are used for purposes such as documenting memories, recording live events, making movies, taking pictures of things or people, and more. As cameras have advanced over the years they have gotten smaller and easier to use so now anyone can be an artist with their own personal camera!

A camera is an instrument that captures images. Most cameras are only able to capture still photographs, but some are able to record videos as well. Cameras can be hand-held or mounted on a stand or tripod. They can also be made for specific uses, such as surveillance and weather photography. A camera’s lens plays an important role in how it takes pictures – the angle of view determines what you see in your picture while your focal length controls the size of the image captured by the sensor inside the camera.

A camera is an object that takes pictures and records video. Cameras come in many shapes and sizes, but all have the same basic function: to take a photo of what we see. The first cameras were invented by Thomas Edison in 1892 and George Eastman in 1888, both using paper as their medium for capturing images. These days there are many different types of cameras including digital cameras, cell phone cameras, security cameras, surveillance cameras etc.
